Peanut Butter & Co. at the Chocolate Show

jenn-blog-iconIt’s Friday, November 7, 2008.  You might be wondering, where is the Peanut Butter & Co. staff?  Well, I’ll tell you… We’re at The Chocolate Show!

“The Chocolate what?????” you ask.  “The Chocolate SHOW,” we answer enthusiastically!

That’s right. It’s the 11th Annual Chocolate Show, which began last night here in New York City.  I like to describe this event as a chocolate flea market – basically, dozens of vendors selling everything and anything having to do with chocolate.  From truffles to t-shirts, from spicy hot chocolate to simply MY favorite chocolate bar , you can indulge (most of) your chocolate fantasies at the Chocolate Show.

“So, what is a Peanut Butter company doing at a chocolate show?” you now inquire.  Well, isn’t it obvious?  Peanut Butter and chocolate go together like, well, Peanut Butter and jelly!  PB & C is such a classic, delicious, and fun pairing.  Plus, the food-friendly audience at The Chocolate Show just adores our all-natural, gourmet peanut butter.

While we do sell a lot of our Dark Chocolate Dreams and White Chocolate Wonderful peanut butter at The Chocolate Show each year, it’s The Heat Is On, our spicy peanut butter, that sells out first! Amazing!

This year, we’ll also be selling our Ultimate Peanut Butter Cup Collection, which is a super cute box of 16 peanut butter cups in four flavor combinations – the timeless milk chocolate with peanut butter filling, dark chocolate with peanut butter (my favorite!), white chocolate with peanut butter, and an inside-out cup with chocolate on the INSIDE and a peanut butter confection on the outside.  My husband and I just finished a box of these. Note to self: bring a new one home!

So, if you do stop by The Chocolate Show, please do stop by and say hello to our peanut buttery crew.  We’ll be the ones in the blue Peanut Butter & Co. aprons at Booth #C48.
